What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Typing 30 wpm
  • Ability to showcase maturity and empathy in active listening and understanding customer needs
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Strong working knowledge of PC-based Internet and software applications
  • 6 - 12 months experience in a customer support environment is preferred
  • Proof of a High School Diploma/GED or higher education (bring to interview if possible)
  • Documentation of a previous job (ask at interview/phone screen for details)

As a Customer Service Representative - Financial Service, you will:

  • Handle and respond to constant inbound phone calls via telephone and occasional email inquiries
  • Maintain and promote a positive attitude while meeting productivity goals
  • Provide feedback to management regarding necessary changes and updates; including policies, upgrades, and customer care issues
  • Demonstrate the ability to create, add, edit and troubleshoot within the client system

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
