HR Generalist-Employee Relations


Summary:
This position responsible for addressing employment and workplace issues that arise.
With problem-solving as the key outcome, the position focuses on consulting with leaders and employees on concerns while being mindful of laws, policies, practices, and potential risk to the company.
Minimum
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Two or more years of Human Resources related experience.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.

Essential Function Advise HR leadership team on employment actions to ensure legal compliance with applicable regulations, and provides guidance on Heritage Health policies, procedures, and compliance Collating and analyzing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies/procedures to generate more positive outcomes Partnering with senior and executive leadership and the HR team to develop and implement Employee Relations best practices and programs Be the lead person in the investigation of any employee disciplinary matters relating to workplace complaints such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment and policy violation Handling employee complaints, managing grievance procedures and facilitating counselling in conjunction with other stakeholders Investigating and resolving complex or critical employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement Keep up to date with the existing employment labor law related trends and ensuring internal alignment with our policies and processes Use surveys, interviews, and other studies to conduct research regarding human resource policies, support and other employment issues and makes recommendations on changes Conduct exit interviews, analyzing trends or opportunities for feedback or improvement particularly in areas related to employee engagement Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
